The high conductivity of C14500 makes it a suitable material for electrical applications including electrical switches on semiconductors, transformer and circuit-breaker terminals, and fasteners. C14500 is adapted for high-speed automatic screw machines.

Typical uses include electrical connectors, motor and switch parts, plumbing fittings, transistor bases and welding torch tips.
