The future of electrification

According to the “World Energy Outlook 2017” recently published by the International Energy Agency, the rise of electrification means that electricity will enter areas such as automobiles, heating and cooling systems that were originally limited to fuel energy.

India and Indonesia are also very significant in terms of power demand growth. In addition, in sub-Saharan Africa, its rate of electrification exceeded the population growth rate for the first time in 2014.

Power generation, distribution and transmission require a large amount of copper. Copper is an excellent conductive material and it still excels at high temperatures, which helps the integration of electrical systems into large grids.
