China’s tin imports remained strong in January

According to customs data, in January 2018, China imported a total of 44,798 tons of tin ore and concentrate, including 44,298 tons from Myanmar. The estimated tin metal content of mines imported from Myanmar in January was 11,100 tons, which was a decrease of only 200 tons compared with last December and an increase of about 80% over the same period last year.
